Each candidate should be a strategic and visionary leader with experience managing local government organizations. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a chief governmental administrative position with an understanding of typical municipal operations. The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree in public or business administration, or other pertinent field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience are preferred. The desired candidate should be creative, personable, and understand the dynamics of diverse elected boards and commissions.
